Making a Writing OTJ

At today's staff meeting, we analysed writing samples to correlate Pact and Asttle.

It is a good reminder that we use several tools when forming OTJs.

RE Staff Meeting 5 February

Today I lead RE staff meeting around Meditation as the main topic.

I am hoping this will kickstart our whole-school meditation, with clear understandings for teachers going forward. I also hope that it will enable students to encounter Jesus Christ daily.

Today with Jacque Allen we started on our team collaborative inquiry

Mana Potential

Our Mana Potential PD for our first TOD was a great insight into ways for students to be more aware of their own hauora and how to develop resilience and coping strategies to deal with their emotions.

I hope this will be a useful tool help to akonga who struggle emotionally.

Karakia

For TODs this week the staff has been practising the Karakia mo te Kai.

Teachers will say this with students daily as part of our RE annual school goals.
